  • The Rossmoor Foundation Scholarship in 2026 will be $4,000.00.  Add-on Scholarships are $2,500.00.

 

 

 

  • Community College Student Applicants:

    • To be eligible to receive a scholarship you must be a student at Diablo Valley College (DVC) or Los Medanos College (LMC).

    • To be eligible you must be graduating in the Spring 2026 or meet the requirements to transfer and you plan to attend a 4-year college or university or a vocational training school that is accredited by a federally approved accrediting agency. 

    •  The on-line application process opens on November 17, 2025 and closes on February 2, 2026.

    • Interviews for eligible scholarship candidates will occur in February 2026.

    • To receive scholarship funds, a student must be enrolled in the fall semester for at least 12 credits at a 4-year accredited institution or vocational training school.

 

  • High School Student Applicants:

    • Must be a graduating senior from Antioch, Concord, Deer Valley, Mt. Diablo, Pittsburg, or Ygnacio Valley high school. 

    • After graduation, must be planning to attend a 2-year college or a 4-year college or university, or a vocational training school that is accredited by a federally approved accrediting agency.

    • The online application process opens on November 17, 2025 and closes on January 12, 2026.

    • Interviews for eligible scholarship candidates will occur beginning in mid-January 2026.

    • To receive your scholarship funds, student must be enrolled in the fall semester for at least 12 units in an accredited community college, 4-year college or university, or a vocational training school.

 

  • School counselors should monitor the status of student’s letters of recommendations (LORs), SAI and transcripts to ensure they have been successfully uploaded to their online applications.

 

  • Applications must be 100% complete by the closing date to be considered.
