High School Applicants

• The Scholarship offered by the Rossmoor Scholarship Foundation is $4,000.00.  Add-on Scholarships are $2,500.00.

 

• To be eligible to receive a scholarship you must be a graduating senior from Antioch, Concord, Deer Valley, Mt. Diablo, Pittsburg, or Ygnacio Valley high school.

 

• After graduation, you must be planning to attend a 2-year college, a 4-year college or university, or a vocational training school that is accredited by a federally approved accrediting agency.

 

• For graduating seniors from the six high schools, the online application process opens on November 16, 2026 and closes on January 13, 2027.

• To apply you must have:

  • A GPA of at least 3.00.

  • A SAI (Student Aid Index) from either FAFSA (2027 Form) or the CADAA (California Dream Act Application) of no more than 32000. (You can click on these links to learn more about these programs.)​

 

• During the application process it is recommended that you:

  • Confirm your teacher has received your email request for a letter of recommendation (LOR) and uploaded the LOR to your application.

  • Ensure that your transcript and SAI have been uploaded to your application.   ​

 

• Interviews for eligible scholarship candidates will occur in mid-January 2027.

 

• To receive your scholarship funds, you must be enrolled in the fall semester for at least 12 units in an accredited community college, 4-year college or university, or a vocational training school.
