OUR FUNDING
Funding for scholarships is obtained principally through donations solicited from Rossmoor residents and from the Foundation investment account managed by Fidelity Investments. Funds are also available from bequests and from community organizations and local businesses.
OUR AUTHORITY
The Foundation is a charitable public organization incorporated in the state of California and governed by the U.S. Tax Code 26 USCA 501(C)(3) which permits it to receive tax-deductible contributions and avoid paying property or sales taxes. Trustees are required to exercise appropriate fiduciary responsibility and to avoid conflict between personal interests and the duties they owe the Foundation.
