We raise funds each year to give deserving students a chance to attend college with scholarships of $3,500 or more. We rely on the generosity of our Rossmoor community to fund our scholarships. We couldn’t operate without your large and small gifts.

Our scholarships are funded in multiple ways.

1.     ANNUAL GIFTS

To make a gift on-line using your credit card, please click DONATE  ONLINE  and complete the donation form.

 

You may instead simply send a check to Rossmoor Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 2056, Walnut Creek, CA 94595. If the gift is in honor of someone or in memory of someone, please include that information. Please be sure your contact information is on the check or in an accompanying note. Also note that the Rossmoor Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation exempt from tax under IRC section 501(c)(3).  Its federal tax identification number is 94-6126368.

2.     BEQUESTS

We also have an endowment, funded largely by bequests. Over more than 50 years our endowment has grown to $2.0 million in 2024.   From our endowment, we withdraw roughly 3.5 – 4.5% each year. That amount is joined with the annual gifts to fund the current year’s scholarships.

3.    MORE WAYS TO GIVE
