SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS

Students apply for scholarships through the counselors at their schools.

 

The students complete online application packets that contain information regarding their scholarship, financial need, extra-curricular activities, community volunteer service and/or work experience, and letters of recommendation. Students are also required to submit a personal essay.

 

Trustees are assigned to a school interview team to evaluate each student's application packet from the respective school. The school interview team then interviews each applicant either in-person or via the Internet.

 

The culmination of the evaluation process is the awarding of multiple scholarships, and recognition of the awardees at an Award Ceremony held in Rossmoor each Spring.
